T-Man Performance has been working diligently with Andrews Products on our NEW exclusive PS design to give our customers the quickest accelerating cams on the market. These cams maintain the longevity of valve train components and ensure the quiet running valve train requested by the Harley crowd. The new grinds are identified by the ‘PS’ stamp on the cams.
Some of the things that can impact your current or future build are compression ratio, riding style and where you live. One of the most overlooked questions regarding a cam choice is the elevation at which you do most of your riding. A cam choice will vary due to altitude, so compression ratios should be considered because of this variation.
510TQ/555TQ – $389
Chain drive bolt-in cams. No headwork required. Lift designed for stock valve springs. Works well at 9.0 to 10.1 compression. A very effective combination with flattop pistons and stock, or slightly modified, heads. A noticeable increase in power and torque. This cam has a broad torque band that will start at 2000 RPM and still pull through the higher RPM range. The 510 is available for 99-06 models and the 555 is available for 07-present motors, only for chain drive.
580PS – $389
Great bolt-in cam for low- to mid-range torque and nice top end pull. This cam really starts to shine with more compression and head work. Can be used with stock springs and compression or a big bore kit and head work up to 10.5 compression. Great replacement cam for the Harley 110” CVO and Tire Shredder kit. Available for 99’-06′ and 07’-present in chain drive only.
590PS – $389
This was the first cam ever designed by T-Man Performance and has been a standby ever since. This is a go-to cam for our 107” kits and has been used very effectively in 117” and 124” larger displacement motors. This cam will provide excellent bottom-end torque for 2-up riding while maintaining excellent performance in the higher RPMs. This is our recommendation for high performance, high mileage touring motors. We recommend this cam run at a minimum of 10.5 compression and works very effectively at 10.8-11:1 compression for high output builds. Available in gear drive and chain drive for 99’-06’ or 07’-present models.
625PS – $399
This cam was developed for quicker power in the torque band while still maintaining its power in the higher RPMs. This is a great cam for our 107”-117” builds with head work and 10.2-10.6 compression. Great for two-up riding or hot-rodding around town. This cam requires performance valve springs due to its 625 lift and adjustable pushrods in stock twin cam heads. It is our go-to cam for the CVO models as a bolt-in cam and will not require valve spring upgrades but will require adjustable pushrods. Available in gear drive and chain drive for 99’-06’ or 07’-present models.
660PS-2 – $399
This cam was designed for the customer looking for the max effort for their 107 or 110” build and is the go-to cam in the T-Man 107 Pro Touring Kits. This is great cam for everything from 107”-124”, depending on riding style. Performance valve springs and adjustable pushrods are required. This cam produces excellent torque and power from 2000 RPMs to 6500 RPMs while maintaining its manners in town for rideability. We recommend roller-rocker arms when using with this cam. We suggest this cam run at a minimum of 10.5 compression, although it works very effectively at 10.8 – 11.0 compression while still maintaining the use of pump gas. Available in gear drive and chain drive for 99’-06’ or 07’-present models.
662-2PS-2 – $399
This is a proven leader in performance cams for 110” to 124” builds. Makes power and torque throughout the RPM range while maintaining its rideability in the lower RPMs. This has been a very popular cam in our larger cubic-inch motors for our dresser crowd. We suggest a minimum of 10.8 compression for the long-distance riders. This cam works very effectively at 11:1 to 11.3 compression for the hot rod crowd while maintaining the use of pump gas. Available in gear drive and chain drive for 99’-06’ or 07’-present models.
680PS-2 – $435
This cam was designed for larger displacement motors and customers who are looking for a little more aggressive cam than our standard 662-2. This cam is designed for the customer looking for an around town hot rod. This cam will require higher compression, larger throttle body and a 2 into 1 pipe for maximum performance while still maintaining its rideability in town and using pump gas. Available for gear drive (99’-06’ and 07’-present) and chain drive (07’-present only).
