Some of the things that can impact your current or future build are compression ratio, riding style and where you live. One of the most overlooked questions regarding a cam choice is – the elevation where you do most of your riding. A cam choice will vary due to altitude, so compression ratios should be considered because of this variation.

TR590

This was one of the first evo cams ever designed by T-Man Performance. This cam is often overlooked because of its 590 Lift but has been a go to cam for our 80” kits and has been used very effectively in larger cubic inch motors.  We recommend this cam run at a minimum of 10.5 on smaller cubic inch motors and is very effective at 10.8-11.1 Compression.

TR625

This cam was developed to make the power sooner in the torque band while still maintaining its power in the higher RPMs. This is a good choice for 80” cubic inch builds with head and piston modifications utilizing a 10.1-10.5 compression and has worked very effectively in larger displacement motors where customers are seeking a torque monster. This makes it a perfect choice for two-up riding where torque is desired while still providing the quick acceleration for hot rodding around town. This cam requires performance valve springs due to its 625 lift and adjustable pushrods.

TR662-1

This is our High-Output cam for smaller displacement motors, 84” and larger cubic inch builds. We recommend 10.5 compression minimum and will work effectively up to 11:1 compression. It has a power band from 2200 to 6200 RPM and will pull smooth from bottom to top of the RPM range. For this cam to be fully utilized, it will require a set of performance heads. This cam requires performance valve springs due to its 660 lift as well as adjustable pushrods and roller rocker arms.

TR650

This is the builders preferred cam for larger displacement motors. This cam was developed to make the power sooner in the torque band while still maintaining its power in the higher RPMs. This is a good choice for larger displacement EVO builds with head and piston modifications utilizing a 10.8-11.3 compression. This cam requires performance valve springs due to its 650 lift and adjustable pushrods.

TR715

This cam is designed for the EVO builder looking for the max effort in their EVO build. We recommend this cam be run in larger displacement motors with a minimum 11.1 compression. While this cam is used for larger displacement street motors – we recommend it as a race cam.
